the world is complex and the minutae of life can easily be lost on us if we don’t pause to appreciate it. I am here to write about my life, business, the complex world of finance, family, my trials and tribulations and basically give you a glimpse into my ever ticking mind. You might want to learn something about business or finance, or you might just wonder how I do what I do in my life generally. I hope to share with you a broad smattering of all of these things.
To give you some context, I am a business owner, financial planner, mother of three school aged kids, wife, hockey player and finance nerd. Besides my family, I love the Australian Financial Review, a strong coffee or three, great architecture, river views and bush, together with my laptop and a notepad. My brain does not sit still, ever, and it drives my husband crazy.
I have a degree in Economics and Financial Planning and I love the world that is business. I overlay that in my role as mum and CEO of “the household”, and my life is always changing. I hope you enjoy. x
